In March, Adobe launched Firefly, its own multifunctional generative AI. Designed to assist Adobe Suite users in their creations, Firefly also generates images, kind of like Midjourney or DALL-E. Integrated into Photoshop, Illustrator, and Express, the AI is also available online via a web interface. And guess what? Just three months after its official launch, Firefly has enabled the creation of over a billion contents. Yes, you read that right, a billion!
“We are pleasantly surprised to see how quickly content creators have embraced Firefly to generate hundreds of millions of images and text effects in just three months,” said Ely Greenfield, CTO of Digital Media at Adobe. It’s safe to say that Firefly is really on fire!
Adobe Firefly Goes International and Now Speaks 103 Languages
After launching Firefly, Adobe decided to make its generative AI an international star. It is now possible to write prompts in 103 languages, including French, to generate images or text effects from the web interface. “Today, we are making Firefly accessible to more people by allowing them to write prompts in their preferred languages. This is a prerequisite for content creators to bring their ideas to life and create unique content,” Greenfield rejoiced.
And that’s not all! Adobe also announced that the Firefly user interface will gradually be localized in about twenty languages, with immediate availability for French, German, Japanese, Spanish, and Brazilian Portuguese. “This new announcement extends Firefly’s accessibility to millions of new creators, regardless of their experience level, giving them the opportunity to generate content designed for commercial use, safely.” It’s safe to say that Firefly is really on the right track!
